Some have fireplaces and exposed wooden beams, while upgraded rooms add a range of features, from chandeliers and 4-poster beds to opulent sitting areas. Monday 12th March: Lunch in a local restaurant is included On this excursion you will be escorted and guided by Sheila and Bryce A full day excursion, by coach, along the exciting Costa Blanca coast line. From Denia we will pass by Ondarra, Gata de Gorgos, Benisa, Calpe, Altea, Albir to arrive in Benidorm.

Wednesday 14th. March
Followed by a guided tour with an official local guide of the Historic City Centre. Visiting the Cathedral-Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady of Valencia (alternatively known as the Cathedral of Santa Maria) where you can see a Holy Chalice thought to be the true Holy Grail. This has Arabic inscriptions from the 1st Century AD. Also visit the impressive Central Market of Valencia one of the largest in Spain. including lunch in a central restaurant ![]() ![]() The Fallas are celebrated on March 19th, San Jose. It is very possible that we will see some of the magnificent figures in the various city squares being made ready to set on fire Some free time before returning via the Albufera rice fields. The origins of Paella. Day 5 Thursday 15th. March: Day of leisure for everyone to do their own thing.
